Classroom Supply Lists - Jul 9, 2018

Classroom supply lists for the upcoming school year can be found on each of the schools' websites, in the local stores, or by clicking on the links below.  For the Owatonna Middle School, more supplies may be required that are unique to individual teachers or programs and you will learn more at orientation.  Similarly, high school students can expect to need folders, paper, pencils and pens.  Teachers will give them information on the first day of school if other supplies are needed.

Summer Food Service Program - May 11, 2018

Welcome parents, grandparents, daycare providers, friends and neighbors!  Owatonna Public Schools will once again be offering free meals for all children, ages 1-18 this summer.  No income guidelines apply, simply show up at the site of your choice.  Children eat for free.  Adult breakfasts are $2.25, and the adult lunches are $4.00.

School Immunizations:  Is Your Child Ready for School? - Jul 15, 2018

To go to school in Minnesota, students must show they’ve received immunization against a number of diseases or file a legal exemption with the school.  Documentation of immunization or exemption must be submitted to the school before school begins.

School Board Member Election - Jul 17, 2018

The period for filing affidavits of candidacy for the office of school board member of Independent School District No. 761 shall begin on July 31, 2018, and shall close at 5:00 o'clock p.m. on August 14, 2018.

The general election shall be held on Tuesday, November 6, 2018.  At that election, four (4) members will be elected to the School Board for terms of four (4) years each.
